The Dog Designer Announces New Book

Mike Spears, the Dog Designer and Molle Tache, LLC announced today the publication of Spears' new book "Silly Dog Toys: 12 easy projects that will make your dog smile." The book is available at www.amazon.com and other online outlets. Additionally, Spears is selling the book in the Molle Tache eBay store as a paperback and digital e-book.

"The book arrives just in time for Christmas", noted Spears. "It's a great gift for anyone with a dog, especially kids and people who love to craft. Not only does it contain really unusual projects, but it offers great tips for playing with your dog."

Silly Dog Toys is a collection of 12 easy projects that shows you how to make great toys for your dog. Detailed illustrations make each project simple; great for kids and adults alike. Most can be completed in less than two hours. More importantly, each project is a lesson in playing, perhaps one of the greatest gifts you have to offer your dog.

I have two Yorkshire Terriers, Chloe and Paisley, and a Wheaten Terrier, Barley. When we play together, I am inspired. I have no doubt, your dogs and the way they play inspire you too. Silly Dog Toys is a product of that inspiration: yours and mine!

Each toy in this book was designed to challenge a dog’s instincts. For example, the toy “Snakes in a Hat” calls on a dog’s instinct to dig out three snakes burrowed in the hat. The “Magic Fingers” toy triggers a dog’s instinct to dismantle the toy by tugging on the fingertips of the glove until several yards of rag strings have been pulled from it.
